The median priced home along the Mississippi Gulf Coast is about $170,000. This price is expected to rise as new construction along the beach produces properties selling in the $400,000+ range. New developments are generally pricing homes in the low to mid $200,000 range for single family homes.
Prices have been rising for most Mississippi Gulf Coast properties over the past few years. The area is still very affordable by comparison to other states in particular California, New York, Washington State and locations where people are leaving for lower cost housing options.
