We have been awaiting the opening of the new Mississippi Aquarium for many months and now it’s open. This gem was constructed on property located on the north side of U.S. 90/Beach Blvd in Gulfport across the street from the beach.
Visitors not only have the pleasure of visiting this first-class venue but have a view of the Gulf of Mexico at the same time. There are restaurants within walking distance of the Mississippi Aquarium as well.
For those of you concerned about COVID, be assured, the Aquarium staff have gone to great lengths to keep you safe. Visitors must wear masks and follow staff’s directions and your visit should be pleasurable.

Many people on the Gulf Coast worked tirelessly to obtain the funding and continue with the construction and opening of this beautiful facility. It’s one more reason why people come to the Coast and visit, some of those visitors buy homes and stay.
